The China-Germany Intellectual Property Exchange Conference 2018 and the Intellectual Property Protection Seminar in Industry 4.0 Era kicked off on December 10, 2018 at the conference hall on Floor 4, Sangda Building, Huafa North Road, Futian District, Shenzhen. During the conference, Liu Jun, a lawyer from Junzhiquan, delivered a keynote speech on intellectual property (IP) protection, patent R&D guidance, patent exploration, and patent layout in China. German guests Claus-Michael Mayr and Petra Kotsch shared the knowledge about copyright and unfair competition, as well as relevant cases in Germany.
Liu discussed the IP protection trend in China and shared how the R&D guidance program can improve the quality of patent applications, explore patentability, and improve patent layout. The program is relevant given the challenges of low-quality patent applications as well as patent invalidation and circumvention.
Headed by Liu, Junzhiquan will give full play to the advantages brought by the integration of technology and law, remain committed to improving the quality of patent applications through the R&D guidance program, and help achieve a balance between the quantity and quality of patent applications.
